Active Hope workshop
The workshop highlighted the profound impact nature has on our physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, and the positive power we have when we deeply acknowledge this. Through specific activities, deep discussion and wonderful connection with others, I left feeling a more active, hopeful and positive ambassador for the future of our precious environment. Sally, Primary School Teacher
Thank you for such a beautiful workshop, Godelieve. The space you created felt like a gentle embrace from nature - safe, welcoming and deeply reflective. Your prompts opened new pathways of thought, and our conversations left me with lasting insights. I walked away smiling, heart full. Chris, Counselor
Attending the Active Hope Workshops, both online and in person on the land, drew me intentionally into a deepening awareness of my interconnectedness with the living world. A world in which there is a shared experience of change, of loss, of deep grief, and of hope. The workshop (online and on the land) was a gentle, well evidenced, supportive, reflective and experientially rich journey of coming home to my deeper sense of belonging and of understanding the origins of my motivations and desires for our living world and my place in it. Having space, time and the presence of others who share in both the pain and the hope of this "Living World" helped me to take hold of my "small" actions with more encouragement, empowerment and hope. Lastly, knowing I exist in the continuum of life in which many before me have respected and nurtured our world, and in doing so themselves, helped me to take ownership of the great responsibility I have in being a guardian for future beings. The interconnectedness shared with nature and those who I attended the online and on the land workshops with will last long after we have gone, and what we each do now contributes to the lasting and active hope future generations can embrace. Thank you Godelieve and those who attended the workshop, online and on the land. Both experiences were enriching, insighful and encouraging. Our collective and active hope is creating ripples, both seen and unseen in the great web of life. Benita, trainer & educator
Online Active Hope Workshop
Thanks for holding such a beautiful online Active Hope workshop Godelieve. Anyone lucky enough to be held in your loving care would feel very nourished. Monica, Environmental Educator
What I loved about this online Activating Hope workshop is that it did exactly that for me. It activated hope and gave me a deeper appreciation of our connectedness to nature. I loved the thought-provoking exercises, the group sharings that enriched my perspectives, the beautifully held space and time for reflection. Having done both, the online and in person workshop I couldn't say one is, Christine, EFT practitioner
It was wonderful to participate in the recent online Active Hope Workshop. The presenter was exceptionally compassionate with deep insights into the work of Joanna Macy. I was particularly captivated by the spiral, which encouraged us to move through four stages beginning with gratitude, then, honouring our pain for the world, seeing with new eyes, and finally, going forth. Knowing I can honour my pain for the world alongside being thankful for our world, was a gift to receive, Wendy, school chaplain
Nature’s Wisdom Workshop
I attended the Nature’s Wisdom workshop last weekend with an intimate group of extraordinary people. Using the seasons as a metaphor to work through the cycle of change, we were gently guided by the power of nature to help us allow and sit with vulnerability, to move through both difficult and joyous feelings and to welcome change as an inevitable part of life. Thanks you again Godelieve.
Sally, Primary school teacher
A beautiful workshop exploring our connection to nature and what the changing seasons can teach us about ourselves. Set on a beautiful property on the edge of Yengo National Park, it was the perfect setting to slow down and listen to the wisdom of the natural world. Godelieve created a warm, welcoming, and safe space where everything—from the activities and meditations to the conversations and walks—was thoughtfully centred around the seasons and their lessons. I would recommend this workshop to anyone wanting to reconnect with nature, find stillness, and gain insight from the rhythm of the earth. Natalie, Business Development Officer
Godelieve, is a fantastic facilitator of work relating to connection to the land, nature and climate. I got so much benefit from your Nature’s Wisdom workshop this weekend, Jude, Construction Project Manager
